Let me start by saying that my perfect Lake Tahoe day started with an adventure that left me feeling like Snow White, with birds landing on my hand like I was their long lost friend. I’m not joking! I booked a Snowshoe Tour with professional photography that promised to capture the beauty of wild birds up close, and boy did they deliver. The morning was chilly, but the fresh snow and stunning scenery made it all worthwhile.

The Tahoe Snowshoe Tour guide, Mike, was a true nature enthusiast, and his passion for the environment and the wildlife was contagious. He showed us the best spots to catch a glimpse of the birds, and before we knew it, we were surrounded by them. The chickadees and nuthatches fluttered around us, landing on our hands as we offered them birdseed from our pockets. I have to admit, I felt like Snow White herself, surrounded by these beautiful creatures.

As if that wasn’t enough, the tour came with a professional photographer, Dave, who snapped some incredible shots of us and the birds. I was skeptical at first, but Dave knew just how to capture the perfect moment, and the results were stunning. The photos turned out so well that I had a hard time picking just a few to take home with me.

After our Tahoe Snowshoe Tour, I was ready for some excitement, so I booked an hour of Snow Tubing an add on extra from tahoesnowshoetours.com . Let me tell you, I haven’t had that much fun in ages. The tubing hill was a blast, with speedy twists and turns that left us all screaming and laughing at the same time. I even managed to catch some air on one of the jumps, which I’m pretty sure made me look like a pro, even if it was just beginner’s luck.

When we finished up with the snow tubing, we were all a little cold and sore, so I had planned ahead and scheduled a Deep Tissue Hot Stone Tahoe Bliss Massage with Kathy Ross. And let me tell you, it was pure bliss. Kathy had magic hands that worked out every knot in my back and shoulders, leaving me feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. The hot stones were a nice touch, and I may or may not have fallen asleep during the massage.

In conclusion, I would highly recommend any or all of the activities that I did on my Lake Tahoe day. The Tahoe Snowshoe Tour with bird photography was an amazing and unique experience, and their Snow Tubing was pure adrenaline-fueled fun. And of course, the Deep Tissue Hot Stone Tahoe Bliss Massage with Kathy Ross was the perfect way to unwind after all the excitement.

“If you’re going to do one thing, schedule a snowshoe tour through this company! My boyfriend and I had never been snowshoeing and I was nervous beforehand. Dave called us the evening prior to be sure we were well prepared as it had snowed a lot the day before. The instruction we were given made it so easy to find the meeting location. Dave had all the gear we needed and made it a very easy experience. The route we took was beautiful and gave us the best views. Dave is experienced and knowledgeable which is what made our experience so great. He knows the area but took us up at our pace which I was thankful for!
